USAT
USAT stands for USA Triathlon. USAT is the national governing body for triathlons in the United States. The Turtle Bay Triathlon is a sanctioned USAT event.
Every participant must either have a valid annual USAT membership or purchase a one-day membership for this race. Adults pay $15 and children under 17 pay $10 for the one-day membership. if you are NOT a USAT member then you will need to purchase a one-day insurance during packet pickup.

Wetsuits
Wetsuits are not allowed unless the water temperature is under 78 degrees Fahrenheit.
USAT Age Groups
Your USAT age is how old you are at the end of the race year, NOT ON RACE DAY!
For example, if you are 29 years old on race day, but your birthday is after race day then your USAT age group is 30, not 29.
